The Michigan Dental Association’s (MDA) mission is to help dentists succeed. In order to do that, the MDA provides valuable services to its members including a monthly award-winning journal, a yearly Annual Session, and continuing education courses throughout the year. Whether you’re looking for continuing education, are wanting to post a job opening at your practice, or stay up to date on the latest news, the Michigan Dental Association is a great resource for you!

Legislative Advocacy and Access

With the practice of dentistry, politics, and insurance constantly changing, it’s important to stay up to date on issues that impact you and your dental practice. The Legislative Action Center allows you to connect directly with lawmakers to advocate for important state legislative issues. The MDA team is available to travel to your local dental society in order to hear your views and provide updates. You can also opt-in for text alerts to inform you when quick action is needed on bills before the state legislature!

Marketing

Each month, more than 4,000 consumers visit smilemichigan.com in order to search for a dentist. MDA allows you to have a profile in order for patients to find your office! The MDA also offers education resources for your patients including brochures, coloring books for kids, books and more for a discounted price. The Michigan Dental Association also has a public education campaign in which they focus on promoting the importance of dental health and to promote MDA dentists, primarily through digital marketing to a wide audience.

The enhanced job posting options range from $49-417 and you have the ability to feature your job posting. Candidates have the ability to search by keywords, location and distance.
